Go Go Google!
May 30th, 2007 , by amitagwlGoogle just introduced the coolest feature I have ever seen in any online maps. Street View! What is it? Check it out!
San Francisco bay bridge street view
Street View allows users to view 360° panoramas of street-level imagery. It almost gets you in the real world. No more virtual experience. Way better than second life!
Do take a look at the above link. So where can I really use it? After all it needs to have some application. Well, I suppose driving directions to mark the landmarks on the way, to familiarize myself with the place, to see the neighborhood I am going to move into or just to get the feel of places of interest so that I can plan my outing! Its way too coool! No more wastage of time, fuel, money and effort to know that you just drove 100 miles to come to a lousy place! Use street imagery and save yourself all that trouble!
When you are browsing Google Maps, street views show up like a layer on the map that highlights areas with available street-level imagery. It opens up in a panorama window and expands much like the local results info window, and users can drag, zoom, rotate, and navigate from panorama to panorama. At present, it is available in San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, and Denver. Lets hope that it will be available in more cities soon.
This is what I call super cool. Way to go Google!

Hi
There is going to be a Blogcamp in India on 16th of June. Around 250 bloggers will be taking part in the event.
This is what they say on their blog: “The way unconferences work is that, you don’t have an agenda, rather we will put up a white board, where participants will themselves add the topics they are interested to speak upon. Depending upon the number of speakers we will go for multiple threads. There will be some intense discussions, we will have a lot of fun and yes there will be blogging, video blogging, photo blogging, podcasting … everything under the blogger sun.”
The registrations have started. We are planning to have 250 participants from all over the country. There are some people taking part virtually, using youtube, slideshare, skype etc. if you are interested please add your name to the wiki.
